Dilan, I have left my comment of your comprehension work on the doc you have posted about this poem. The work in red is what you could have said or thought about to expand your answer out.
This was your first effort with a war poem and you will slowly build on your understanding of how poets use all sorts of symbolisms and language features to explain their point of view.
